Phrases like "Bring home the bacon" and "Kill two birds with one stone" are quickly going out of style says a student at Swansea University. Shareena Hamza believes that with the rise in popularity in veganism will result in people using less meat themed phrases out of respect. PETA agrees and even recommends some alternative phrases like: "Bring home the bagels, and grab the flower by the thorns."

STRAIGHTEN UP
The famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is getting straighter. This news comes from an engineering professor at Pisa University. The 186 ft tower is not as crooked as it once was after it was slightly straightened due to repairs aimed at keeping the structure safe and protected.

PEACOCK WANTS TO BE TURKEY According to a couple in Vermont, their pet peacock has been on the loose in their area for the last six weeks and is now hanging around with a bunch of wild turkeys. Vermont Fish and Game put out an email about the matter after hearing the story, making it go viral. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ THEY'RE HERE, AND WE DIDNT EVEN NOTICE A research scientist at NASA's Ames research centre says that aliens may have already come to earth and humans didn't even notice. Silvano P. Coloumbano believes  this is because of their vastly different looks. He says they could have arrived here as something other than a carbon-based life forms and would therefore be undetected. He thinks it would be beneficial to consider changing what we think of as a "civilization."
